after care.

Before your visit
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
  • Avoid aspirin or ibuprofen for 24 hours, unless prescribed.
Aftercare
  • Don't rub or massage the area.
  • Stay upright for a few hours.
  • No intense exercise, alcohol or sauna for 24 hours.
  • Wait at least 3 months between treatments.
Possible side effects
  • Redness, swelling or bruising at injection sites, usually gone in a few days.
  • Headache or mild nausea in some people.
  • Rarely, muscle weakness or an allergic reaction.
  • Tell us about any medical conditions, allergies or medications.
